Sunday Larson

Sunday Larson never planned to become a writer of stories. Until in the Andes of Peru, on her fiftieth birthday when a Spanish-speaking mystic said to her, “Write for me.” Believing the meaning had been altered in translation, Sunday heard : Write to me. Six months later, she had an epiphany while driving towards her home in Sedona, Arizona and knew the venue of her creative expression had been altered.

Her essay, The First Altar, was published six months later by Pangaia Magazine, Spring 1999. Also featured was a photograph of a natural material collage by Sunday. In 2003 Composting a Life was posted on www.wowwomen.com. Digging for My Buried Self was posted on www.planetlightworkers.com.

Sunday Larson’s jewelry designs grace fine collections worldwide. The erotic motifs were inspired by her fascination with women and their ways and her study of Goddess culture.

Based on her observation that women’s charms accumulate over time rather than diminish, Sunday founded Accumulated Charms™. A website and blog are being designed for ‘women of experience’ to post stories for possible inclusion in an anthology.

A native of the American Southwest, Sunday Larson is a descendant of Arizona outlaws and Utah pioneers. Raised on The Broken Arrow Ranch in Utah, she knows that being a cowgirl means approaching life creatively and fearlessly, with sass and grit.

Sunday Larson now lives in SLC, Utah with her husband and continues to explore the same themes with words that she did with gold. She is writing the third of four+ books in her series about the Auldney-Rios Clan of El Rancho de las Estrellas, in Sedona, Arizona. Sunday can be contacted via her website: sl@sundaylarson.com
