My name is Marcia Lusk. I have been a member of the Utah Chapter RWA since December 2000. I've held the positions of Newsletter Editor, 2002 and 2003; Vice President/Publicity Chair, 2004 and 2005; and Member At Large, 2006. In addition, I was the 2005 Heart of the West Writers Contest Coordinator, and on the planning committees for the 2004 and 2006 Heart of the West Writers Conferences, and 2005 Heart of the West Writers Workshop.

Awards:

  • "Time and Time Again" -- 2ND PLACE, 2002 Great Beginnings Contest; and 4TH PLACE, 2002 Heart of the West Golden Pen Contest.
  • "Her Gallant Rogue" -- 4TH PLACE, 2003 Heart of the West Golden Pen Contest.
  • URWA SERVICE AWARD -- February 6, 2004

I was a Secretary Steno for 18 years with the Federal Government, and served as State Secretary for the Utah Air Force Association 1989 – 1991.

I've written and completed an historical, and am currently working on a time travel.
